Wikimedia Polska Association organised Polish Wikimedia Meeting 2006, which took place on 29 April - 1 May, 2006 in Wrocław. Among others the Association was seeking contacts with potential sponsors and members of communities active in free content productions. Association's bank account was used for collecting fees and funds. The Association prepaid accommodation booking during the meeting from its own resources and also paid for hiring the conference room and some minor costs of the meeting.

The Association supported establishing Silesian Wikipedia during the voting on meta.

The Association supported financially journeys of several Wikipedians, for collecting pictures and other source information needed for preparing free content of Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.

The Association established collaboration with free content organisations - Creative Commons Polska, and Fundacja Nowoczesna Polska.

The Board of Association started the system of issuing press ID cards for Wikinews reporters, business cards and press accreditations.

The Association cooperates with Helion Publishing House to produce DVD with Wikipedia.

The Association maintain good relationships with Wikimedia Foundation and their other local branches by participating in common discussions of the important international issues.

The Association realizes Wikikonkurs (Wikicontest), a project to support gaining materials needed for writing articles in Wikimedia projects. 500 zł (around EUR 125) was allotted for that propose.
